Margaret Foley

Margaret has been the heart and soul of Hartfield for the past 25 years, buying the store in 1986 after many years of working in the business. Her vision and passion for fine jewellery has seen Hartfield become the New Zealand leader in high-end international jewellery brands.

Margaret travels to European jewellery fairs at least once a year to get a feeling for the latest trends and nuances. Margaret also spends time in Milan and Paris with top jewellery designers from whom she gains her inspiration.

Brian Hough

Margaret's husband, Brian joined Hartfield in 1988 after a 20 year career in law.

Rebecca Foley

Margaret's daughter, Rebecca, joined Hartfield fulltime in 2002 upon returning from 6 years working in Hong Kong, London and New York as a finance lawyer. Having grown up with Margaret's love of jewellery and many interludes spent working at Harfield, she is now involved in buying, marketing and sales. She frequently travels to Europe with Margaret to attend jewellery fairs.
